• Unlike Spyware, CleanWare doesn’t collect information about your shopping interests and send it to some company’s server. CleanWare always leaves your shopping interest data on your own computer. So there is no need to worry about what XooXooX will do with your data, nor whether XooXooX employees will inadvertently lose it, nor that XooXooX’s server will be hacked and your data stolen, because XooXooX never sees it.
  
• Unlike Spyware and Adware, CleanWare is not a local application that needs to be downloaded or installed, which rides along with some other installation, or pretends to be something else.It doesn't store a program on your computer. CleanWare apps are Web2.0 applications that are only active when you visit a page containing a CleanWare ad widget, and CleanWare only runs within the limited security of your web browser’s interface. If any optional helper applications or plug-ins are offered, the user must be clearly informed and approve its installation, and such helper applications may not transmit any user data without explicit user consent.
  
• Unlike Ad Networks, like Google or Yahoo, who use cookies to track and connect your various web activities to create a dossier on your habits that lets them improve their guesses, CleanWare like XooXooX, doesn’t use cookies, and doesn’t track your behavior. It doesn’t need to because XooXooX doesn’t guess.
  
• Unlike all of these other ad networks, CleanWare doesn’t show you ads about products you haven’t indicated an interest in. Cleanware allows you to control the ads you see.
